On Immokalee Road in North Naples, lies the beautiful Heritage Bay community. It is 1.3 miles east of Collier Boulevard. Two very large quarry lakes and a 1,800-acre cypress preserve bounds Heritage Bay.
In total, Heritage Bay consists of 718 acres. The community features a Gordon Lewis and Jed Azinger designed 27-hole golf course that opened in Decemeber of 2006. Also during this time, Heritage Bay’s new 27,000 square feet clubhouse and 8,000 square feet fitness center opened its door to residents. The clubhouse includes indoor and outdoor dining, a pro shop, card room and locker rooms.
Talking about the golf course, Heritage Bay has equipped it with sufficient landing areas to cater to occasional players and strategic hazards have been put in place to accommodate lower handicap players. Putting greens are large and rising and falling. Its surfaces are made of Tif Eagle grass to offer the best putting surfaces in all its 7,000 square feet. Aside from the golf course, Heritage Bay also has Har-Tru tennis courts that come with stadium seating so spectators are comfortable as they enjoy watching a game of tennis. There’s also a resort-style swimming pool complete with tiki hut bar and grill as well as 5 satellite pools.
The neighborhood has schools that offer quality education for children that live not only in Heritage Bay but as well as other communities. These schools are Corkscrew and Laurel Oak Elementary, Corkscrew and Oakridge Middle School, and Palmetto Ridge and Gulf Coast High School.
