Built in 1985, the Abaco Bay is a small community of 2-story condominium buildings of off Bayshore Drive. This Key West inspired condo-conversion community was then renovated in the year 2005. It has since then been modernized and upgraded.
Some of the improvements include upgrades in air conditioning, new roofing in place and state-of-the-art appliances in each of the units. Along with each unit transformation is Abaco Bay’s newly renovated community pool and fitness center that are common gathering places for a lot of the residents.
Most of the condo units at Abaco Bay also features tile and hardwood flooring with Berber carpeting. Abaco Bay may be far from what you would call the “high-rise condominium living” but this quaint community has a true South Florida feel, providing its
residents with a quiet, tropical lifestyle. It offers beautiful preserve view all throughout.
Aside from the wonderful view you get from within the community, it is also surrounded by an abundance of attractions. The Sugden Park, Collier Park and Botanical Preserve – three of Collier County’s most stunning parks – are within walking distance or a short drive away. The blue waters and white sands of the Gulf of Mexico are no more than five minutes from Abaco Bay.
5th Avenue S. and 3rd Street South, two of the more famous shopping and dining destinations in Naples, are also not too far from the community.
Great schools within close proximity also serve the Abaco Bay community. Avalon Elementary, East Naples Middle School and Lely High School are more than capable of providing quality education. Avalon Elementary incorporates ELL strategies across all of its grade levels. The staff is committed to cater to the educational needs of its diverse student population.
Whatever your hobbies or passion may be, this unique community at the corner of Southwest Florida is one to consider.
